Now add a filter to the top of your extractor, and connect a chest above it. It may be a good idea to add your other upgrades while you are there. Note that you must add in the necessary Transformer Upgrades or transformersīefore connecting the Extractor to the power source or it will blow up. Ensure the dot side (output) connects to the Extractor. For me, this is a HV Solar Array, connected to a MFSU, which is connected to a Extractor. 2 Extra Glass Fibre Cables or HV Cables.Screwdriver or Sonic Screwdriver (For turning Filters). Several Energy Storage Upgrades (Handy, but optional).2 Transformer Upgrades (For HV) or 1 (For MV).At least 2 Glass Fibre Cables or HV Cables.1 HV Solar Array (Best to use HV, but lower voltages work too).So rubber wood teleports to an automated extractor, oak logs get sent to a wood chest, apples go to a food chest, etc. This method is quite a bit more efficient than the Buildcraft version (below). I like to build a small sorting machine at the tree farm that will send all the output to where ever it needs to go via BC teleport transport pipes. You can grow all kinds of trees in the tree farm. One of those rubber trees can produce a couple thousand blocks of rubber wood. (Sometimes days.) By planting so many saplings, I can get one or two to grow within a few hours. The saplings take a really long time to grow. Plant 50 or 60 giant rubber tree saplings inside the filler. Here is another way that I have done it in the past that doesn't use EE: Find a big open area and build a giant filler around it using landmarks. All I have to do is periodically throw a diamond in the energy condensor. The end result is this: I can walk up to a chest and grab all the rubber I want. A second filter pulls the rubber out and puts it in an alchemy chest. I like to overclock the hell out of the basic machines.) This extractor makes a stack of rubber every 3 seconds or so. (Extractor has 13 or 14 overclockers.I don't use the advanced machines. I send the resin to a highly over clocked extractor. I pull the resin out half a stack at a time with a redpower filter. I have a dedicated energy condensor that makes resin.
